Through the Craft and Folk Art Museum program, "Folk Art Everywhere", Sonia Romero was invited to create a site specific installation at a local Highland Park neighborhood market, Figueroa Produce. "Bee Pile" was installed inside the market for three months, in order to expose people to artwork outside of the gallery/museum context.
